For the June 2018 installment of Fitbit Local San Diego, ambassadors Mike Sherbakov and Sheri Matthews Kimmel brought the crew to downtown San Diego and the swanky Alexan residential complex. As an added bonus, this event took place on a Tuesday, so there was tacos after the workout and dance party.

Fitbit Local San Diego at Idea 1 in Downtown San Diego

Fitbit Local San Diego set-up in the courtyard of Idea 1, an urban living complex in downtown San Diego. 

I don’t DJ every Fitbit Local San Diego event, but when they are breaking in new, sleek spaces in downtown San Diego, I just can’t refuse.

Idea 1 is a residential complex with a massive open space that has been utilized for various events since it opened. It was the perfect spot for a cardio and yoga workout with Sheri Matthews and Mike Sherbakov.

We even had a little sing along … “My Cherie (Sheri) Amor.” fitting since it was the week of Valentines Day.

Fitbit Local San Diego January 2018 Takes Over The Bay Club

Sheri Matthews Kimmel and Mike Sherbakov lead a Fitbit Local San Diego workout at the Bay Club.

Fitbit Local San Diego traveled to inland North County for January and took over the Bay Club in Carmel Valley. There was plenty of sweat during the boot camp style workout led by Sheri Matthews Kimmel and then a nice cool down with Mike Sherbakov.

As a nice treat for all those who attended, each were given a day pass to use the Bay Clubs amazing fitness facility.

Fitbit Local has now extended to a fourth city, Seattle. I’ve been so privileged to be a part of each one of these and can feel and see the events getting bigger and bigger each time.

The Fitbit Local program is a series of monthly meet ups to encourage Fitbit users to gather, mingle, exercise and sweat. It's currently underway in San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles and now Seattle.

The Seattle launch took place on March 26, 2016 at the Armory, located inside the Seattle Center. The Fitbit Local Seattle ambassadors are Kaisa Keranen and Kevin Ng. This pairing led a seriously sweat inducing workout, which in my opinion, was the hardest one to date. And the crowd of 500-plus took it like champs.
