Alex and Nita walk back down the aisle as husband and wife at their November 2019 wedding at the Darlington House.
Sometimes you come across people that you feel like you were just destined to meet. For me, this was definitely the case with Alex and Nita. The two celebrated a wonderful early winter wedding on November 23, 2019 at the Darlington House in La Jolla, California.
During my first conversation with them, Nita asked if I had ever worked a wedding with deaf guests; reason being, her entire family -- parents, grandparents and brother -- is deaf. And while I had not knowingly worked a wedding with deaf guests (and I’m certain not one where they were part of the couple’s immediate family) I did have a “little” experience in this area.
My brother is deaf, so understanding how to make the slightest accommodations to ensure her family was completely involved was no problem at all.
And like every wedding, the emotion of it all and the music to set the soundtrack of the evening, knows no
bounds or handicaps … it’s just all about pure love.
