**This is me posing with my custom made Lululemon control vinyl just before getting started on Day 1 of the Leadership Conference.**

Day one (October 6, 2015) of my duties at the 2015 Lululemon Leadership conference began with a 5:30 a.m. wake up call, getting dressed, hopping in a cab and making my way from my hotel to the conference hotel. I was scheduled to play four sets throughout the day: breakfast, lunch and two additional short afternoon breaks.

First Set (Breakfast): Consisted of mostly varying sub genres of house music; attendees were either coming directly from their rooms or from their morning “sweat” sessions, which was either a spin or yoga class. One of the company mantra’s is “sweat once a day,” and that even includes at their conference.

Second Set (Lunch): The foyer I DJ’d in all week was directly outside of the main general session ballroom where all 1,000 attendees assembled. Each time they exited was essentially a break, so I made sure the first song, for whichever genre I was playing for that set, was something upbeat and recognizable.

So yes, the 80s Pop set kicked off with Tears for Fears.
