Yoga Under The Sails - San Diego Convention Center

Yoga Under The Sails Took Place on February 12, 2019 at the San Diego Convention Center.

The one hour session was taught by a trio of instructors from Corepower Yoga.

Yoga Under The Sails returned for a second round at the San Diego Convention Center. This time I teamed up with Corepower Yoga, as they brought out a team of three instructors to guide attendees through the flow.

With the sunset happening much earlier in the evening than the last event (August 2018), the lights of the Sails Pavilion illuminated over the attendees to add a nice visual element to the hour long yoga class.

Fitbit Local San Diego Takes Over Alexan

Sheri Matthews Kimmel leads the June 2019 Fitbit Local Workout

For the June 2018 installment of Fitbit Local San Diego, ambassadors Mike Sherbakov and Sheri Matthews Kimmel brought the crew to downtown San Diego and the swanky Alexan residential complex. As an added bonus, this event took place on a Tuesday, so there was tacos after the workout and dance party.

Sunset Yoga Under The Sails - Free Yoga at the San Diego Convention Center

Sunset Yoga Under The Sails took place on August 29, 2018 at the San Diego Convention Center.

San Diego DJ, Justin Kanoya and yoga instructor, Lauren Padula.

On August 29, 2018, nearly 1,000 San Diegans made it out to the San Diego convention center to stretch their bodies at Sunset Yoga Under The Sails. The session, led by Lauren Padula, was a first for the convention center. The free event provided a unique experience in a space typically reserved for trade shows, music performances and other mixed uses.

The San Diego Convention Center's Sails Pavilion transformed into a tranquil, yoga studio for one night during a free, community event. In collaboration with the Downtown San Diego Partnership, nearly 1,000 yogis of all fitness levels shared mats across the exhibit space floor during the first ever "Sunset Yoga Under the Sails."

A Retreat Without The Travel With Goldie Graham - Starlight La Jolla

San Diego based yoga and fitness DJ, Justin Kanoya, and yoga teacher, Goldie Graham.

After a couple of missed attempts, I finally had the opportunity to DJ an event with yoga teacher extraordinaire, Goldie Graham.

Goldie, who teaches yoga in San Diego, routinely hosts multi-day yoga retreats in different areas of the country (and the world). But on this day, she put together a one-day retreat at a quaint venue in La Jolla. She called it a “retreat without the travel.”

It took place at the Starlight La Jolla, a perfect the spot for a perfect afternoon to flow and then enjoy tasty treats and then a couple of hours in and around the pool.
