2015 Pacific Arts Movement Spring Showcase Opening Night - Ultra Star Theater

The 2015 Pacific Arts Movement Spring Showcase kicks off with the screening of In Football We Trust.

San Diego DJ, Justin Kanoya with Pacific Arts Movement (and wife) board member, Sheila Kanoya.

Pacific Arts Movement is a non-profit arts organization in San Diego that orchestrates the San Diego Asian Film Festival every year. Before the festival, which takes place in the Fall, the group puts on the Spring Showcase … in a sense a mini film festival.

I had the opportunity to DJ in the lobby of the Ultra Star Theater - Hazard Center for the opening night of the 2015 Spring Showcase. The featured opening night film was In Football We Trust, a documentary about American high school football players of Samoan and Tongan descent.

Bridesmaids Night Out at the Bustle Bridal Boutique - Del Mar

The Bustle is neat little boutique wedding gown shop located in Del Mar, CA. On this night, they planned a bridesmaid’s night out, the purpose of which was for their bridal clients to spend an evening with their girlfriends sampling food and wares from other local vendors.

Taking a quick picture with Sarah before the guests arrive at The Bustle Bridal Boutique, which hosted a Bridesmaids Night Out event. 

I had a nice time meeting the Bustle staff, and was impressed with their inventory of amazing wedding dresses.

Barnard Pacific Language Academy Art Night - School Dance DJ

The parents of Barnard Pacific Language Academy put together an amazing night of hands on art for the school's students. With different stations set-up throughout the school campus, the kids had a great time letting their creative minds roam free.
